Terms of sale and delivery
In the text below, you will find useful information in connection with online booking and your overnight stay. Among other things, you can read about how we handle the information you enter, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase etc.

All prices quoted in the booking system of Fredensborg Vandrerhjem as well as prices stated elsewhere on the website are in DKK, including VAT and all taxes unless stated otherwise and evident in the particular situation.

Payment must be made using one of the approved payment cards/credit cards for online booking, such as Dankort, Visa and Mastercard. The international payment cards are subject to a fee for transactions made through online booking. The amount of the fee will appear in the transaction before it is finalized.

Dogs are welcome
If you plan to bring a dog, please note that it is only allowed in the family rooms subject to a charge. 78 kr a night.

Information on online purchasing
It is safe to make purchases on the Internet via our online booking system. As a consumer, as a rule, you are secured as regards any misuse of your credit card on the Internet and therefore, there is no excess in connection with misuse of your payment card on the Internet. Conveyance and delivery
In connection with booking and payment of a room, confirmation from Fredensborg Vandrerhjem stating your purchase will be displayed. You can print the confirmation from the website when the booking is completed and it will be sent to your email address when the purchase has been completed, provided that you have stated a correct email address.

Right of revocation, refund and cancellation
You can cancel or modify your booking on the following terms:

  • Bookings of up to two nights may be cancelled up to 2 days before arrival
  • Bookings of three nights or more may be cancelled until 7 days before arrival
  • If cancellation is made in due time, the total amount is refunded, except for
    a DKK 178 administration fee and bank fee.
  • If cancellation is made later than the times stated above, the amount paid will not be refunded.

    Gruops/events including catering
  • Cancellation of group bookings can be made until 6 weeks before arrival
  • The deposit will not be refunded if an event is cancelled. However, in case the event is rescheduled for another date within the same year, the deposit paid will still apply
  • Minor adjustments to the number of participants (1-5) may be made until 48 hours before arrival. Subsequently, the number of participants is binding for all services.

Cancellation must be made in writing and must be sent directly to Fredensborg Vandrerhjem.

Breakfast can be ordered upon arrival.

We reserve the right to not serving breakfast if less than 15 people have ordered breakfast. In that case, you are welcome to use our guest kitchen.

Groups of more than 10 people, must order meals with us, as they are NOT allowed to use the guest kitchen.

Registration of information
Fredensborg Vandrerhjem will register your name, address, email address and other information stated in connection with the purchase in our customer records. The information is not passed on. When paying by credit card, the registration takes place via a secure server. The information is encrypted before being transmitted via the Internet.

Treatment of complaints
If, for some reason, you do not receive confirmation of your purchase and you do not get an error message from the system, please contact us in writing at the address below or call us.
